Our mission president swears he didn't have access to the new Preach My Gospel any sooner than we did, but sometimes we read and it's like he wrote it. A little suspicious this whole revelation thing.  We had zone conference this week, and it was the most powerful I've been a part of in my mission so far. There was a big emphasis on faith, how we can increase our faith in Jesus Christ, and how we have this time in the mission to grow. I was called on to read a scripture passage and it was like a slap in the face, something that God has been trying to tell me for months and finally, I read it and I understood. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. He cambiado mi actitud mucho esta semana, y sentí el espíritu obrando en mi, invitamos a todos nuestros amigos ser bautizado, muchos dicieron que necesitan tiempo, pero me siento mejor con las invitaciones y lecciones. Entrenando es más difícil que pensé pero estoy aprendiendo mucho de la h.alcon y somos fortaleciendo nuestro Compañerismo. Me siento bien como que estoy haciendo todo lo que puedo para hacer la obra, estoy mejorando cada día para ser obediente y ser un ejemplo para la hermana alcon, pero no hemos visto muchos frutas, sé que el campo está blanco y que hay personas listas pero no hemos encontrado aún. Does everyone remember our friend Carmen, she decided to give us another chance. She is slowly making her way towards baptism.  We had a Blitz in Los Copihues, and an intercambio and I spent a very rainy day in Chillan with Hermana Blanco.  We ate more sushi, my companion is a sushi addict. But it was good, we asked for chicken and found some surprise shrimp!!! Our friend Pepe has stood us up for 2 appointments now, so we will see how long he stays green (green means he's progressing). Yesterday we took a trip to Pemuco, a small town 40 minutes north of Yungay that is still part of our area. We visited a cute old people's home, and found some people who seemed interested. Then we got stranded in Pemuco for a couple of hours, because there aren't buses on Sundays, and our ride with a member got delayed a couple hours. But we made it! The rain keeps coming, and on Tuesday I got a little taste of splash mountain when a car drove through a puddle and completely soaked me.  We have stopped teaching just about all of our friends, and have had a couple straight up tell us to stop visiting them. So it's been a hard week and we are trying to find new people.   We have also been having lots of trouble with inactive members, but we know there is a purpose and something good will come of our efforts  But we ate sushi, knocked doors in the rain, and found a very cute field to take pictures in.  -Hermana Pratt journey to atlantis chile edition sushi the cute field

Chilean hamburgers, cats and dogs, intercambios and a blitz in Bulnes, that's about all that happened. We took the early bus to Chillan, then Chillan to Bulnes, it rained and then we ran back to catch the bus back to Chillan just in time to miss the bus back to Yungay. A 3 dollar fry, and an hour later we were on the way home.  We had intercambios, me and hermana Blanco spent the day finding new people and putting our friend Javier on date for the 29th of July! Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures but believe me it was great!  We ate hamburgers 2 times this week, they were good, but I think Chile should invest in a Chick-Fil-A.  The branch president thought that we left the heater on in the church, but we didn't even visit the church this week, no fui yo! We think they just use us as scapegoats for the problems in the branch, but we know they will be sad when we're gone.   Not much else happened this week, we have bee...

Please share a few successes and/or challenges from your efforts to fulfill your missionary purpose this past week. aprendí mas sobre planificación esta semana y me siento mejor para planificar y hacer mas cosas, y no perder ni un minuto mas! encontramos nuevos amarillos y queremos ayudarles a progresar. nuestra amiga cristina no esta lista para leer el libro de mormón pero es bueno para escuchar cuando nosotras leemos y tuvo buenas preguntas cuando compartimos Lección 2, su esposo es miembro inactivo, y ella tiene mucho potencial. Javier fui a la iglesia este domingo! el tiene fecha para el 29 de julio porque trabaja 14 x 14 en iquique, pero es super bueno para leer y cumplir compromisos y realmente quiere cambiar su via. me siento muy feliz para ver las personas y progreso.
