Week 44/76 Ten Months And Training

10 Things I love about you, for the Mission Chile Concepcion

I love the way I hear his voice
And that the Holy Ghost is there
I love that I can testify
Of He whose name I wear

I love your flag red, white, and blue
    It's almost just like mine
I love you so much it makes me smile
    It even makes me rhyme

I love the way I know it's right
I hate how the time flies
I love the way I'm always learning
In this work that isn't mine

I hate that it goes by so fast
From the day I got my call
But mostly I love the way I don't hate you.
Not even close, not even a little but, not even at all.

This past week I completed 10 months in the mission.

These ten months have changed my life, my perspective, my attitude, and my testimony. I have grown more than I ever thought I could. I am so grateful for my Savior for everything He has done for me and for the opportunities I have to be here preaching His gospel. I can't believe I only have eight months left, but I know I am not going to waste a second!

This week we had cambios, President called us on Monday to let us know that me and Hermana Condori would both be training for this next cambio! I think I'm still in shock.

Hermana Condori spent the week saying goodbye and I was preparing for the new missionary. Unfortunately Hermana Condori's last day was a rainstorm and all of our plans fell through so she wrote notes that I have to give to everyone.

On Friday we took the bus to Concepcion, which meant singing hymns and telling stories for two hours like youth on the way to youth conference.
We ate lunch and had a presentation then we met our new companions.
They do a cute little slide show, drumroll reveal of all the missionaries and their new companions, and it's very fun. It just so happens that my heart was racing the whole time and me and my companion were very last!
Por fin I met my new companion and then we were rushed to the terminal to catch our bus back to Yungay.

Hermana Alcon, she is from Bolivia. She is 22 and is a convert of 8 years. She has the most animo and enthusiasm to talk with everyone and share the gospel. I know she is going to be a great missionary and I am excited to be her trainer!

The branch misses Hermana Condori and they are still adjusting, but we are working to find people and keep changing lives!

¡Feliz día del pionero!
