Week 14/76 Feliz Navidad From Collao!!

The beginning of the first transfer of my mission has been loco! We left early for the mission office and I said goodbye to Hermana Eriksson. Then I got to spend the morning in the mission office with Hermana Hiatt again, just like our first day!

Then I met my new companion, Hermana Garcia!! Everyone who has been hoping that I would get a native companion, your prayers have been answered, well kind of. She is from Mexico, not Chile, but still, she only speaks spanish. It is a challenge to communicate sometimes but she has a lot of patience with me and I am learning more and more Spanish every day.

We live in the smallest apartment of the mission, and it is basically just a glorified hallway. But we have hot water, a nice bunk bed, and food (now that we have gone shopping), so really it isn't bad.

We have spent this whole week trying to get to know the ward and work with the information the elders left for us. Although our house is tiny, our area is huge, and we do so much walking everyday!

We had intercambios this week, so I spent Friday in Chillancito with Hermana Maher. We are preparing for Christmas, even though it feels like July, and I have a tan line from my necklines.

We have a Zone conference tomorrow and it is a special Christmas conference. So I get to see the people from my old zone, and I get to go to my old church building and I am very excited!

Thank you for reading, send me your Christmas updates! and enjoy photos of  me and Hermana Garcia eating food and exploring our new are, and the throwback with Hermana Hiatt!!

Feliz Navidad,
- Hermana Pratt
