Week 20/76 Por Favor, No!!

We had transfers! Another morning spent waiting in the mission office, Hermana Garcia left with her new comp basically as soon as we got there so I was waiting with other hermanas. I got to see Hermana Eriksson, and it was a grand reunion. President was taking all kinds of pictures which I know my mom appreciates.

But what you've all been waiting for... my new comp is.... Hermana Balmaceda!!! She is from Paraguay and has 1 year in the mission. It's been fun getting to know her and we've been working super hard.

We had a ton of lessons this week, and we have a baptism this saturday! We also have a bunch of people progressing and are hoping to have a family baptized in the next couple of weeks.

We have been walking a bunch. And even though it's freezing in the mornings and it feels like the weather might be changing, it is still a thousand degrees everyday! Ok, only like 36, which always makes me think it should be cold. I still haven't figured out the exact conversion of celsius to fahrenheit, but it feels pretty hot.

On friday we had a Zone conference, and it was super awesome. I got to see Hermana Garcia and Hermana Hiatt. I can actually take notes now that I can understand what President Hukdhs is saying. And they did a practice to work with the members more, and they invited members from the nearby wards, so I got to see Hermana Soledad and Hermana Rosa from Villa Acero!!! Hermana Soledad ran up to me and gave me the biggest hug ever!! We didn't have much time to talk and catch up, but we got some pictures and it was so nice to see familiar faces.

On Saturday we needed to pick up our lunch from a member's house, we arrived at the apartment complex and knocked on the door and an older guy opened the door and he just said "Por favor no!" which for all of you who don't speak spanish means "Please no!" Me and my comp just stood there staring, I hadn't met the member we were getting lunch from so I wasn't sure if it was a joke, but turns out we did knock the wrong door. We were looking for building G and we accidently went to building C. We eventually found our lunch, but now we laugh everytime we walk by those apartments.

This week the bishop's son starts home MTC. On saturday they did a ward FHE so everyone could say goodbye and take photos, the bishop made a huge wooden tag and we took photos. Then he gave his farewell talk yesterday in church and it was super awesome.

Chile is still amazing and I only got a little sunburnt this week. Send me emails, and photos, love you all!!
