Week 29/76 Trio Vibes And Conference Time!

How is everyone? What did you like from conference? 

I'm in a trio now with hermanas Duffy and Danko in Universitario, which is the big city of Concepción. 

We had a couple intercambios this week so we spent a day with Hermana Nuñez and then another day I was in Pedro de Valdivia (the area with the temple) with Hermana Anderton and Aguilar. It was a little crazy but an adventure to be running around. 

We had a super busy weekend. It started with zone council saturday morning and then rushing home to watch the sessions of general conference, which we were able to watch in english from our beds!! 

General conference was the best!! I took a mountain of notes and it was a great weekend! My first conference in the mission and it was a good one! We watched the last sunday session in the church and were able to see some amigos! 
This week we also helped move a wood pile, ate some good food, and are trying to pull together a baptism!

Week 75/76 White And Ready To Harvest

I had the opportunity to teach about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon in english for the first time this week!  I asked them if they assist another church, when I was trying to ask if they attend another church and a few other spanish words slipped in, but it went well and they agreed to read 3rd Nephi!   We had 2 intercambios this week. With hermana Toro and hermana Guevara. I always learn so much and enjoy getting to know the hermanas!  We also laugh a bunch and become good friends!  We picked golden berries and had fresh golden berry juice for lunch. We also ate some pastries like the ones from Brave and Hermana Ortiz told me that in spanish they don't have a scottish accent. We had probably the worst lunch of my mission this week. Cold tuna with cheese and onions on top. Week 12/76 Milagros Y Un Nuevo Mes

This week was so crazy, but first off thank you everyone who sends me emails. I love reading about your lives and hearing from you!  Other than that it's been adventurous.  We know this member and we visit him all the time. He's 95 years old and he's so cute. His daughter is at his house to help him and we just go talk to them and she always gives us so much food. She's so nice and we just love visiting with them. We visit these other members, Dora and Marisol, all the time. Marisol is blind but they're always super sweet and they always help me with my Spanish. I'm so grateful for all the members here.  On Wednesday we had a crazy thing happen. There was a drunk guy in his car and he was trying to talk to us and then we were like 'okay here's our pamphlet' and he was like 'get in my car come with me'. So we are trying to get away and we get in  another car with this couple and we thought they were going to drive us away but then they got out...
