Week 30/76 Vale La Pena
Hey guys! Not much happened this week. Its starting to get cold and we are pulling out the sweaters.
I found 2 dollars and a marble on the side of a hill, hiking to visit someones house. And we got the best teriaki bowl things for lunch one day!
Our friend Damian was baptized yesterday and I don't think I've ever seen anyone happier! I love the happiness that the gospel brings and it is amazing to watch someone change their life and have the light of christ in their life! We did have to emtpy cold, dirty, 2 week old water out of the font with buckets, but vale la pena! (Worth it).
Our ward is really small here, but there are 7 missionaries because I'm in a trio and there are 4 oficinistas right now.
We had empanadas for Easter lunch and it was a totally different vibe, for my first Easter away from home it really just felt like another day. What was really whack was that for good friday the streets were empty!
One member recently returned from the US and she shared some american candy with us! She brought it out in a target bag!! And we ate reese's and kisses and whoppers, and milky way. And it didn’t realize how much I missed american candy until we were eating it!
We also saw the cutest baby kittens!
It was a week full of tender mercies, I know this is the work of God, that He has a plan for all of us, and we can always find the joy in the little things along the way!
Also this transfer was super rápido!! We will find out transfer news this week!!
Love you guys! Have a great week! Tell me what you did for Easter!
