Week 54/76 Pensar De Una Manera Celestial

Intercambios! Me and Hermana Sirman against chillán, specifically a few old ladies, the stake president, 2 new friends who started the day without a baptism date, but now are preparing to make their first covenant with the Lord, a small power outage and a confusion with the keys to the church, only to have them change the interviews with president to a different stake center on the other side of Chillan. 

The next day was Hermana Alcons birthday, so of course we blew up balloons and had a little celebration and one of the Hermanas gave us cake! 

The moment we've all been waiting for, 6 months in the making! CONFERENCIA GENERAL!! 
Que fuego! I really liked all of it. 

 I made the mistake of making and bringing cookies to the 6 members who came to watch conference in the church, and got told that if I didn't make and bring more cookies they wouldn't let us come to their houses. 

Apparently our work here is paying off, because Chile is getting another temple!!! 

I've also been putting together a cute little unity project for our zone, and I put lots of work into it, so I hope they like it. 
Javier has a date for the 21st! And Joselin and carmen are both praying to know when they should be baptized!

Week 75/76 White And Ready To Harvest

I had the opportunity to teach about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon in english for the first time this week!  I asked them if they assist another church, when I was trying to ask if they attend another church and a few other spanish words slipped in, but it went well and they agreed to read 3rd Nephi!   We had 2 intercambios this week. With hermana Toro and hermana Guevara. I always learn so much and enjoy getting to know the hermanas!  We also laugh a bunch and become good friends!  We picked golden berries and had fresh golden berry juice for lunch. We also ate some pastries like the ones from Brave and Hermana Ortiz told me that in spanish they don't have a scottish accent. We had probably the worst lunch of my mission this week. Cold tuna with cheese and onions on top. Week 12/76 Milagros Y Un Nuevo Mes

This week was so crazy, but first off thank you everyone who sends me emails. I love reading about your lives and hearing from you!  Other than that it's been adventurous.  We know this member and we visit him all the time. He's 95 years old and he's so cute. His daughter is at his house to help him and we just go talk to them and she always gives us so much food. She's so nice and we just love visiting with them. We visit these other members, Dora and Marisol, all the time. Marisol is blind but they're always super sweet and they always help me with my Spanish. I'm so grateful for all the members here.  On Wednesday we had a crazy thing happen. There was a drunk guy in his car and he was trying to talk to us and then we were like 'okay here's our pamphlet' and he was like 'get in my car come with me'. So we are trying to get away and we get in  another car with this couple and we thought they were going to drive us away but then they got out...
