Weekly Reports

Please share a few successes and/or challenges from your efforts to fulfill your missionary
purpose this past week.
Yo he estado conociendo más las personas aquí en linares y son muy amables, me gusta la rama y los
amigos. Trabajamos mucho todos los días, caminando por todos partes y hablando con todos las
personas. Un pensamiento vino a mi mente ayer, que solo estoy aquí para encontrar, enseñar, y bautizar,
y quiero siempre tener este enfoque y siempre recordar porque estoy aquí, por algún propósito he sido
asignado a linares 2c y voy a hacer lo más posible para cumplir este propósito
What is one area you can focus on this coming week to more closely follow the principles
in Missionary Standards for Disciples of Jesus Christ?
Tenemos que usar las herramientas que tenemos, se que al usar las herramientas (la siega, el 15, calendario
y mi plan Bautismal, lecciones con Miembros, todos) vamos a ver un cambio en los milagros y el éxito
que encontramos!

Week 75/76 White And Ready To Harvest

I had the opportunity to teach about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon in english for the first time this week!  I asked them if they assist another church, when I was trying to ask if they attend another church and a few other spanish words slipped in, but it went well and they agreed to read 3rd Nephi!   We had 2 intercambios this week. With hermana Toro and hermana Guevara. I always learn so much and enjoy getting to know the hermanas!  We also laugh a bunch and become good friends!  We picked golden berries and had fresh golden berry juice for lunch. We also ate some pastries like the ones from Brave and Hermana Ortiz told me that in spanish they don't have a scottish accent. We had probably the worst lunch of my mission this week. Cold tuna with cheese and onions on top. Week 12/76 Milagros Y Un Nuevo Mes

This week was so crazy, but first off thank you everyone who sends me emails. I love reading about your lives and hearing from you!  Other than that it's been adventurous.  We know this member and we visit him all the time. He's 95 years old and he's so cute. His daughter is at his house to help him and we just go talk to them and she always gives us so much food. She's so nice and we just love visiting with them. We visit these other members, Dora and Marisol, all the time. Marisol is blind but they're always super sweet and they always help me with my Spanish. I'm so grateful for all the members here.  On Wednesday we had a crazy thing happen. There was a drunk guy in his car and he was trying to talk to us and then we were like 'okay here's our pamphlet' and he was like 'get in my car come with me'. So we are trying to get away and we get in  another car with this couple and we thought they were going to drive us away but then they got out...
