Week 60/76 Cambios??

Not much happened this week, but here's the highlights.

  - I drank mate on Tuesday, which isn't a very big deal, but the yerba that is in our house isn't very good, so it kinda threw my whole day off. 
  - I tried mate again on Wednesday it tasted better and my day was better
  - our ward home evening was full of half magic half riddle tricks, including but not limited too, matando moscas (killing flies) and a "Japanese writing" name guessing game.
  - on Thursday we had interviews with President and the elders accidently bought bus tickets for the wrong day and almost got left at the terminal. 
  - on Thursday we also had some fun changes happen in our district. There are two elders in our zone finishing their missions tomorrow, so one Elder had to move areas and another elder was in a trio for 4 days and now there are only 2 companionships in our ward and not 3. Our district leader changed and the other 5 members of my district all have less then 6 months in the mission.
  - another surprise rainy day on Saturday, but a recent convert bought us ice cream and drove us home so we could change into dry clothes 
  - Araceli came to church and is super excited for her baptism, she said "the more I go to church the better I feel" and it's so true!! She has faced all her fears coming to church, and has found her place I'm the gospel!

Week 75/76 White And Ready To Harvest

I had the opportunity to teach about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon in english for the first time this week!  I asked them if they assist another church, when I was trying to ask if they attend another church and a few other spanish words slipped in, but it went well and they agreed to read 3rd Nephi!   We had 2 intercambios this week. With hermana Toro and hermana Guevara. I always learn so much and enjoy getting to know the hermanas!  We also laugh a bunch and become good friends!  We picked golden berries and had fresh golden berry juice for lunch. We also ate some pastries like the ones from Brave and Hermana Ortiz told me that in spanish they don't have a scottish accent. We had probably the worst lunch of my mission this week. Cold tuna with cheese and onions on top. Week 12/76 Milagros Y Un Nuevo Mes

This week was so crazy, but first off thank you everyone who sends me emails. I love reading about your lives and hearing from you!  Other than that it's been adventurous.  We know this member and we visit him all the time. He's 95 years old and he's so cute. His daughter is at his house to help him and we just go talk to them and she always gives us so much food. She's so nice and we just love visiting with them. We visit these other members, Dora and Marisol, all the time. Marisol is blind but they're always super sweet and they always help me with my Spanish. I'm so grateful for all the members here.  On Wednesday we had a crazy thing happen. There was a drunk guy in his car and he was trying to talk to us and then we were like 'okay here's our pamphlet' and he was like 'get in my car come with me'. So we are trying to get away and we get in  another car with this couple and we thought they were going to drive us away but then they got out...
