Week 76/76 Representatives Of Christ

The Lord worked some great miracles this week. We had intercambios on Tuesday and Wednesday. We got to stop and take some photos outside the temple! 

Thursday we had some zoom meetings with Elder Costa of the seventy. There was a mix up with our lunch appointment and so we ended up being late to the zoom meeting. 
We rescued a tarantula that was drowning in a pool and learned about mosaics though.

Then on Friday we had zone conference with Elder Costa. After saying the prayer, Elder Costa said I sounded Chilean! 
Y'all the book of mormon has everything. Sister Costa taught us about mental health and showed us how Nephi also faced mental trials and how he overcame them! (2 nephi 4) 

It just so happened that in this special conference all of my companions who are still in the mission were all in the same place, so we had to get a picture.

Some miracles we saw this week:

A week ago we were contacting people in the street and we met Ezequiel. He accepted a folleto and gave us his number. We had a lesson with him and a recent convert. He decided that he needs to be baptized. He would've come to church on Sunday but he had an important soccer game on Saturday night and was out late. But we are going to invite him to be baptized this week! 

On Saturday the hermanas in our ward had a baptism, so we helped out and got to watch Jimmy make his first covenant with God! 

Then a huge miracle happened yesterday. We woke up to a message, from an unknown number, asking about the church and we asked who it was. He said his name was Nicolas and he had been meeting with hermanas 2 years ago. He didn't have as much time then, but now he is looking for hope and stronger faith in his life. He met with us at the church and accepted a baptismal date! 

It was a crazy, all over the place week, but in the end we saw so many miracles and saw God's hand in it all!

Week 75/76 White And Ready To Harvest

I had the opportunity to teach about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon in english for the first time this week!  I asked them if they assist another church, when I was trying to ask if they attend another church and a few other spanish words slipped in, but it went well and they agreed to read 3rd Nephi!   We had 2 intercambios this week. With hermana Toro and hermana Guevara. I always learn so much and enjoy getting to know the hermanas!  We also laugh a bunch and become good friends!  We picked golden berries and had fresh golden berry juice for lunch. We also ate some pastries like the ones from Brave and Hermana Ortiz told me that in spanish they don't have a scottish accent. We had probably the worst lunch of my mission this week. Cold tuna with cheese and onions on top. Week 12/76 Milagros Y Un Nuevo Mes

This week was so crazy, but first off thank you everyone who sends me emails. I love reading about your lives and hearing from you!  Other than that it's been adventurous.  We know this member and we visit him all the time. He's 95 years old and he's so cute. His daughter is at his house to help him and we just go talk to them and she always gives us so much food. She's so nice and we just love visiting with them. We visit these other members, Dora and Marisol, all the time. Marisol is blind but they're always super sweet and they always help me with my Spanish. I'm so grateful for all the members here.  On Wednesday we had a crazy thing happen. There was a drunk guy in his car and he was trying to talk to us and then we were like 'okay here's our pamphlet' and he was like 'get in my car come with me'. So we are trying to get away and we get in  another car with this couple and we thought they were going to drive us away but then they got out...
