Week 77/76 Going Into Overtime

Another week just zooming by. 

We had leadership council. I had the opportunity to give my last testimony and I recieved my bell and tag. Presidente invited us all to his birthday party! And I got another chance to see hermanas Hiatt and dyreng before we are stuck on a plane together for 9 hours! 

On Tuesday we had zone council with one of our zones. Then we had intercambios. Me and Hermana Romero went all around chiguayante. We stopped to buy a slice of pie, and they had a deal for a tea or coffee with each slice, they kept asking which one we wanted and we had to explain like 3 times that we don't drink either, and they ended up giving us a glass of water. 

On Thursday we visited a new part of our sector. I accidently left a Book of Mormon on a swing in a park. Then after a coordination meeting, we met up with our friend Ezequiel. He invited us up to his boujee apartment, we taught about the Book of Mormon, he gave a very interesting prayer, then he gave us Alfajores!! That's the short version of how I was in the apartment of a professional Argentinian soccer players apartment! 

On Friday we had the zone council for the other zone, celebrated womens day, and had another intercambio. I went to Villa Nonguen, with hermana Chung. We climbed a mountain, saw tarantulas, and saw a few miracles. 

We ended the week with a ward family home evening activity. Two of our friends came, participated, and made connections with ward members. It was really awesome! Neither Jonathan nor Nicolas made it to church the next day, but paso a paso!! 

It was a good week, full of miracles, good times, bad times, and just time that passes so rápido! 

A huge miracle that we saw happened while we were in Nonguen. We invited a lady to church, and she started making excuses as to why she couldn't come. I had the impression to share a scripture, hermana Chung thought the same. We shared 3 Nephi 13:30-33, testified of the blessings that come when we are obedient and sacred for God, and we invited her again with power and authority, and she agreed to come to church! Her whole attitude changed while we shared from the book of mormon. I know the spirit was there in that short contact, and that it touched her heart. That really stood out to me this week, as a testament that I am a representative of Christ, that I have the power and authority to invite people to change their lives, ans that I really am an instrument in His hands!! 

We made it, 76 weeks. Now we're going into overtime!!

Week 75/76 White And Ready To Harvest

I had the opportunity to teach about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon in english for the first time this week!  I asked them if they assist another church, when I was trying to ask if they attend another church and a few other spanish words slipped in, but it went well and they agreed to read 3rd Nephi!   We had 2 intercambios this week. With hermana Toro and hermana Guevara. I always learn so much and enjoy getting to know the hermanas!  We also laugh a bunch and become good friends!  We picked golden berries and had fresh golden berry juice for lunch. We also ate some pastries like the ones from Brave and Hermana Ortiz told me that in spanish they don't have a scottish accent. We had probably the worst lunch of my mission this week. Cold tuna with cheese and onions on top. Week 12/76 Milagros Y Un Nuevo Mes

This week was so crazy, but first off thank you everyone who sends me emails. I love reading about your lives and hearing from you!  Other than that it's been adventurous.  We know this member and we visit him all the time. He's 95 years old and he's so cute. His daughter is at his house to help him and we just go talk to them and she always gives us so much food. She's so nice and we just love visiting with them. We visit these other members, Dora and Marisol, all the time. Marisol is blind but they're always super sweet and they always help me with my Spanish. I'm so grateful for all the members here.  On Wednesday we had a crazy thing happen. There was a drunk guy in his car and he was trying to talk to us and then we were like 'okay here's our pamphlet' and he was like 'get in my car come with me'. So we are trying to get away and we get in  another car with this couple and we thought they were going to drive us away but then they got out...
